How fast is the efficiency of sorting logistics equipment
Automatic sorting system is a device that many logistics centers have, which is a kind of equipment derived from manual sorting on the assembly line. For many people, automatic sorting equipment can be said to save a lot of effort, this logistics automation sorting line system Limin Technology tells you some knowledge about automatic sorting equipment

A common automatic sorting system consists of a control unit, a sorting unit, a conveyor unit and a sorting tunnel.
The role of the control unit is to identify, receive and process the sorting signals and to instruct the sorting device to automatically sort the goods according to the requirements of the sorting signals, according to the variety of goods, according to the place where the goods are delivered or according to the category of the owner. These sorting requirements can be fed into the sortation control system in different ways, such as bar code scanning, color code scanning, keyboard input, weight detection, voice recognition, height detection and shape recognition, etc. Based on the verification of these sorting signals, a decision is made as to which sorting lane a particular item should enter.
The role of the sorting device is to act according to the sorting instructions issued by the control device, and when goods with similar sorting signals pass the device, the device acts so that the direction of operation on the conveying device is changed to enter other conveyors or to enter the sorting lane entrance. There are many types of sorting devices, generally push-out, float-out, skewed and branching types, and different devices have not exactly similar requirements for sorting goods in terms of packaging materials, packaging weight, and smoothness of the bottom surface of the packaging.
The main component piece of the conveying device is the conveyor belt or conveyor, whose main role is to make the goods to be sorted through the control device, classification device, and the double side of the conveying device, generally connected to a number of sorting road mouths, so that the sorted goods slide down the main conveyor (or the main conveyor belt) in order to carry out subsequent operations.
Sorting pass is the passage where the sorted goods leave the main conveyor (or main conveyor belt) and enter the collection area, generally consisting of steel belts, belts, rollers, etc., so that the goods slide from the main conveyor to the collection platform, where the staff will concentrate all the goods at the pass and either store them in the warehouse or assemble and load the trucks and carry out distribution operations.
The above four devices are linked together through a computer network, with manual control and corresponding manual processing links to form a complete automatic sorting system.
The automatic sorting system has the following features.

Able to sort goods continuously and in large quantities. The automatic sorting system can operate continuously, regardless of climate, time, human strength, etc. Because of the high number of pieces sorted per unit of time, the automatic sorting system has a sorting capacity of over 100 hours of continuous operation and can sort 7,000 packaged goods per hour, compared to only 150 pieces per hour if sorted manually. The sorting staff cannot work continuously for 8 hours at this labor intensity.
Very low sorting error rate. The size of the sorting error rate of the automatic sorting system depends mainly on the accuracy size of the sorting information entered, which in turn depends on the input mechanism of the sorting information. If the manual keyboard or voice recognition is used for input, the error rate is above 3%, and if barcode scanning is used for input, no error will be made unless there is an error in the printing of the barcode itself. Therefore, current automatic sorting systems mainly use bar code technology to identify goods.
The sorting operation is basically unmanned. One of the purposes of establishing automatic sorting systems abroad is to reduce the use of personnel, reduce the labor intensity of workers, and improve the efficiency of the use of personnel, so automatic sorting systems can reduce the use of personnel to a very large extent and basically achieve unmanned. The sorting operation itself does not require the use of personnel, which is limited to the following tasks.
Delivery vehicles are manually picked up when they arrive at the incoming end of the automatic sorting line.
Operation of the sorting system is controlled manually.
At the end of the sorting line, the sorted goods are manually collected and loaded.
Operation, management and maintenance of automated sorting systems.

Automatic sorting equipment can not only be used in logistics, but also many can be used in factory assembly lines. After all, the common intelligent equipment is actually derived from some factory equipment, in order to be more labor-saving, safe and accurate, if you want to buy sorting equipment, you can call us.
